Bowen is a form of osteopathic bodywork that does not require the client to undress and does not use oil. It can be deeply relaxing as it stimulates a deep part of the Autonomic Nervous system (ANS) with gentle, precise moves over specific points in the body. In traditional style Bowen session there are "wait times" similarly used as in acupuncture. This allows for the electrical signals between the brain and body to communicate and rebalance systems controlled by the ANS: respiratory rate, heart rate/circulatory, immune system, digestion, hormonal regulation and overall musculoskeletal tone and function (via reflexive points).
Great for athletes, kids, elderly, people suffering from fibromyalgia, chronic pain in neck, back, shoulder, hip/knee, ankle and jaw, as well as headaches, migraines and scoliosis.
Customized to meet your needs, with additional time to allow for detail techniques in several areas of concern. Using long slow strokes for soothing muscles and fascia, somatic stretches to passively relax muscles, and active muscle releases to improve function, this style of massage is great for relaxing and balancing the mindbody, easing tension and addressing your therapeutic goals. Warm towels for the feet and neck are complimentary with this service.
Specializing in several Clinical/Deep Tissue (DT) techniques to address various biomechanical issues, and is generally focused on 2-3 problematic areas, may or may not address the whole body (depending on time and client preference).
Ashiatsu: Barefoot Massage: This style of massage employs the myofascial release technique with deeper pressure than a hands-on massage. By using their feet the therapist is able to apply firm broad pressure for folks who prefer a deeper deep tissue massage, without the pokiness of fingers and elbows.
Manual Lymph Drainage: MLD: This technique can be used in treatment of Lymphedema, pre/post surgical swelling (medical or cosmetic), and is also used to decrease arthritic symptoms. Gentle and rhythmic this technique does not require lotion/oil in most cases.
Sports Massage: Functional/Somatic Stretching Method**, compression, and a variety of visceral manipulation, neuromuscular and myofascial techniques to address tissue damage, maintenance or to prepare for an event.
Customized to address your health goals/concerns. All techniques require advanced training and precision, however pressure is adjusted for client comfort and preference. Gentler pressure techniques including MLD, and Bowen (osteopathic bodywork) are excellent for moving lymphatic fluid and can bring relief from swelling, and arthritic pains. Bowenwork is also great for athletes with dysfunctional movement patterns or "catches" in their range of motion. Deeper pressure techniques like Ashiatsu (barefoot massage) and MyoFascial Release are great for athletes, people in manual labor professions and those who perform repetitive tasks for work.
The shorter time is great for clients looking to address 1-2 main issues and is not recommended for those looking for a full body relaxing massage (**suggested 60/90 minute Therapeutic massage for relaxing massage).

Usui Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique where the practitioner guides chi or "universal energy" through a clients body with intentional, gentle moves to reduce stress and promote the bodies innate ability to heal.
Great for helping to improve sleep, provide pain relief, and release stress and tension.
Peruvian Shamanism centers around the native medicine wheel and the natural cycles of life. Like the seasons we too go through changes and symbolic cycles of life, death, and rebirth. Shamanic sessions guide us to work with these natural cycles to gain traction in life, create balance and healthy boundaries, manifest our authentic desires to serve, live and love with freedom and options, transmute outdated energetic patterns and step into our favorite, authentic self. This form of energetic healing may include the use of crystals/stones, feathers, drumming, breathing exercises, and gentle hands-on healing to cleanse and rebalance chakras and meridians, navigate shadow work, heal and connect karmic lines of destiny, and learn to live from a place of this integrated highest self. Clients often report feeling lighter, grounded, balanced, connected, empowered, easier to breathe and move, and may have emotional release during or after the session. Each experience is unique and designed to meet you right where you are; to guide clients out of their heads so that they may dive into the depths of their heart space and intuitive knowing. This practice honors that you are your own healer and that the answers you seek are often already inside of you waiting to be uncovered, remembered, and reclaimed.
